Product design: One product. One system underneath.
The service
We design SaaS products end to end: research, flows, interface, and the design system underneath. You get a first release your engineers can build from, and a system that keeps the next ten releases consistent.
For Product teams whose interface has outgrown its first version, and founders shipping a first release
- Starts with
- Discovery
- Reviews
- Weekly, in your browser
- You own
- The files, the code, and the design history
What you get
Research first
Research and user flows come first, then navigation and structure, so every screen has a reason to exist.
Interface and interaction
Interface and interaction design for the release, reviewed with you in the browser every week.
A system underneath
A design system with tokens and components, so the next ten releases stay as consistent as the first.
A prototype in code
A working prototype in code. reLabs builds it with us, or we hand it to your engineers.
How a product project runs
Every service starts with discovery and includes weekly reviews in the browser.
Discover
We learn your product, your users, and what the release has to do. Research and user flows happen here.
You get A one-page brief we both agree on
Direct
We build three directions as clickable pages. You choose one, and we write down why.
You get Three directions and one decision
Design
We design the interface and the system underneath in code. Every week, you review it in your browser.
You get A working prototype you can click
Ship
reLabs builds it, or we hand the prototype, tokens, and components to your engineers.
You get Files, code, design tokens, and the design history
Other services
The fine print.
It depends on the scope. We give you a schedule once the scope is agreed, and we review progress with you every week.
You do. At handover, you own the brand files, the source design files, the design tokens, the code, and the design history, in formats any team can build from. Working with reLabs afterward is an option, never a requirement.
Yes. We design in code, so we can work in your repository, follow your conventions, and hand over components your engineers can extend. Or reLabs can build it for you.
You can go on your own with everything you need, or keep us as a design partner. Some teams come back for the next launch instead.
