Requirement
A customer must be able to take the state of a project out of Keep and into the meeting they are walking into — as a PDF to circulate, or as CSV to pivot.
Today the only way out is a screenshot, which is why three of the five pilot workspaces have asked for this in their first month. The report is the one already on the Reports surface; this requirement is about getting it OUT, not about designing a new one.
Scope is the project report. Workspace-wide exports and scheduled delivery are separate requirements.

Acceptance criteria
Acceptance criteria
- PDF — the project report exports as a single paginated PDF whose sections, order and totals match the screen exactly.
- CSV — the same report exports as CSV carrying every column shown, in the same order, under the same headers.
- Reachable — the export is offered from the report itself and the format is chosen at export time, never in Settings.
- Large reports — a report over the synchronous ceiling is queued and delivered by email, and the reader is told which path they got.
- Theme — a PDF exported from dark mode is legible on paper: dark ink on a light ground, not a photographed screen.
- Permissions — a customer-role member exports exactly what they can already read, and nothing more.
- Empty — a report with no rows exports a file that says so, rather than a file with only headers.
Export spec
The shape of the two files a customer can take out of a project report.
One paginated document. A cover page carrying the workspace mark, the project name and the reporting window; then the report's own sections in the order the screen renders them. Running header on every page after the first, page numbers bottom-right.
Dark mode does not survive to paper. A PDF exported from a dark workspace is rendered with the light palette — dark ink on a light ground — because the alternative is a customer printing a photograph of a screen.
CSV
One file per report, not per section. Every column the screen shows, in the same order, under the same headers. Escaping is the whole job: commas, quotes, newlines, and a leading = (which spreadsheets read as a formula) all round-trip unchanged.
Delivery
Under the row ceiling, the file is rendered in the request and downloaded. Over it, the export is queued and the reader is emailed a link that expires in seven days. Either way the reader is told which path they got before they walk away from the page.
Out of scope
Scheduled exports, workspace-wide exports, and a customisable report template. Each is its own requirement.
